As part of our continuum of GT services, Ms. Jones will:

• Facilitate the GT testing process including parent/staff referrals, transfers, testing, and parent questions.
• Provide professional learning and modeling strategies to staff for differentiation, choice boards, tiering, etc.
• Meet and work with students throughout the year on individual learning projects
• Establish consistent communication with you and your GT students and families
• Advocate for GT students / Advanced Academics
• Support the instructional goals for the campus by providing guidance and leadership in differentiation, project-based learning, and higher-order thinking.
• Attend PLC meetings and team planning, assisting teachers with modifying instruction to meet the needs of gifted and high-ability learners
• Support during parent conferences of GT students
• Assist with campus professional development planning and delivery.
• Push into classrooms to model, partner teach, or observe differentiation strategies and learning experiences that lead to the development of advanced-level products and performances
